Made from heavy walled mild steel DOM tubing. they also come with machined slugs to put in the bottom tubes when welding them together. The backbone is left untacked due to it has to slide into place once the hardtail is installed. This is the nicest and easiest hardtail to install and makes for a cleaner flowing frame when done. Adds 2 inches of stretch. Works on 69 to 79 frames only
