offset kit for xs650

The kit includes:
Offset Side Cover Spacer(s) (Billet Aluminum)
Offset Sprocket (Heat Treated and Hardened)
Offset Spacer for the Shift Arm
New Clutch Pushrod
New Side Cover Gaskets (2)
New Side Cover Bolts (Longer)

The max offset on these sprockets is 3/4" (perfect for 200mm tire) any further and you run into stress issues on the drive shaft bearings for the sprocket.

Any tire larger than 200mm you would still need to run a Jack Shaft. Sprockets are 18 tooth rather than 17 tooth (stock) the 18 tooth still has good bottom end but really drops the RPMs at top end (you can run a 75-80mph all day long, and still have plenty of bottom end to do a burn out)

The advantages of the 200mm

1. Cost.. Wheels, Tire and Fender are much less, You can buy a 18 x 5.5 40 spoked wheel with a 200mm for about 300.00 vs the 250mm at almost double
2.If you running rigid the 200 has a lot more side wall than the 250 that is easier on you ass and back.
